Introduction to this blog

At the beginning of this module, I was uncertain about the journey I was starting since working with AI was something new for me. I had to many thoughts and expectations but also to much fear of not being prepared to adapt myself to this new world because I never felt comfortable working with technological tools. I had to many difficulties with technology and internet connection when online classes arose as I live out of the city in a rural area, and I never got used to working with ICTs. Therefore, I was afraid of not being capable to deal with AI but, when the course started, I realized that the AI world is even interesting than I expected, and that I was just making wrong predictions about its difficulties. Afterwards, I started to be eager to put in to practice everything the teacher was transmitting to us, and even I was afraid of making mistakes, I really wanted to prove myself that I was able to do it appropriately. At the same time, interesting topics such as prompting and design thinking made me feel that it was not going to be an easy journey, but cooperative work was going to be the key for success in this module. Likewise, my expectations were to learn how to use AI to apply it to English language teaching, and make my job more effective learning how to elaborate interactive and dynamic lesson plans and class activities. Also, I expected to use AI to save time when creating certain activities that require a lot of time. At this point, my thoughts and expectations changed since I realized that I can use AI for activities that I did not even imagine, and it made me feel more excited about continuing working hard to internalize all this new important content.
